On December 28, 2013 the topic of my sermon was "Changing Courses".  I didn't know at the time, but within four days, God would be changing my course like never before.

On January 3, 2014, I awoke with no church to pastor and no income. My wife, in-laws and I headed to Myrtle Beach to decompress and seek God's direction. 

​

While walking along the beach, looking at the white caps of the ocean, God spoke to me and said "my resources for you are as vast as the ocean". While God was speaking to me, He was sharing the same message with my family at the hotel. From this, Liberation Ministries was born.

Our first service was held February 2, 2014 at Hornets Nest Elementary School. We were nervous and riddled with questions. When would the building be open? Will anyone come to our first service? How will service go? That service and every service since has been an awesome experience. God has truly presented Himself. 

​

Whatever you do in life, there may be some level of fear, especially when you're changing courses, but I believe it is much better to try and fail than not to have tried at all.

 

Liberation Ministries was and still is about trusting God in all that we do. I encourage you also to trust God in whatever you are trying to accomplish in your life.
